Greetings From North/South Brunswick USY!
 | What is USY?USY is youth group for conservative Jewish teens in high school (9th to 12th grade) affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism (USCJ). North/South Brunswick USY (NSBUSY) is a chapter of the Hagalil region of International United Synagogue Youth (USY). It is a youth-run organization, as each level (international, regional, and chapter) is run by a board of USYers with an adult advisor.
NSBUSY is a chapter of the Hagalil Region. NSBUSY is based out of Congregation B'nai Tikvah in North Brunswick, New Jersey. We hold events about twice a month, such as movie nights, lock-ins, fundraisers, etc. Hagalil USY Hagalil USY is the region that NSBUSY is part of. Hagalil consists of Northern and Central New Jersey. Hagalil has dances/conventions each month. This is a good way to meet new people from outside of your chapter!! International USY International USY is the governing body of all of USY throughout the US and Canada. There is one international convention a year at the end of December. Over the summer, international USY has multiple summer programs such as USY on Wheels and USY Pilgrimage. |
